A web coding journey that started in 7th grade.
Every project I've ever hosted on this domain, from the very first PHP file to today.
Got my first domain — goldenlouis.com — and a GoDaddy cPanel hosting plan back in 7th grade. Spent time building locally before uploading anything. The first files hit the server during the summer between 8th and 9th grade.
Built a full custom PHP website from scratch: dynamic navigation menus pulled from MySQL, a sticky header with jQuery, user registration, login with 3 permission tiers (user / admin / owner), profile pages, and a bright yellow theme. My first real full-stack project.
DB offlineA mysterious archive uploaded to the root directory. Contents unknown. A relic from the early days of tinkering.

First WordPress installation. Experimented with multiple themes — Mins, Primer, Twenty Sixteen, Twenty Seventeen, Twenty Nineteen, and Twenty Twenty. Explored what a CMS could do compared to hand-coding PHP.
Archived“Ocean Treasure Hunt” — a school project poster uploaded as a PDF. The server doubled as personal cloud storage before Google Drive was the default.
ArchivedBuilt an online store with WordPress and WooCommerce. Set up product listings, payment systems, and added Solid Security for protection. Still running with the Twenty Twenty-Five theme.
LiveTried a different e-commerce platform — Magento — for a project called “File Guys.” A digital goods store hosted on a free .ga domain. Learned the difference between WordPress and enterprise e-commerce the hard way.

Built a desktop Wordle game (wordle.exe) and hosted it for download.
Branching out from web development into compiled applications.
From a yellow PHP page that said “This website is still not finished” forty-one times to WooCommerce stores, Magento experiments, blogs in two languages, and desktop apps. The domain that started in 7th grade is still here.
